Samsung’s One UI 8 Beta Is Live — Galaxy S25 Users, You’re Up First

Samsung’s One UI 8 beta program is now live, and the Galaxy S25 series phones are first in line. The program has been announced for select countries, though, including Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US.
One UI 8 Beta is live with Android 16, the Galaxy S25 users are first in line
One UI 8, as many of you know, is based on Android 16. Even though Android 15 with One UI 7 arrived not long ago to Samsung phones, we’re already in One UI 8 beta program. Samsung was rather late with the stable Android 15 update, in all honesty.
In any case, if you live in any of the countries mentioned and own the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, or Galaxy S25 Ultra, this may interest you. Before we proceed, please note that this is beta software, so bugs are possible. The update file is over 3GB in size, so keep that in mind.
This is what you have to do in order to enroll
What you need to do in order to become a beta tester is install the Samsung Members app. Once you do, open it. Then you’ll need to sign into the app using your Samsung account, the same one you’re logged into with the phone you’re installing the update on.
Once you do that, you’ll need to tap the One UI 8 Beta Program banner, which will appear at the top of the home screen. You’ll be enrolled once you do that, and will be able to go to Settings -> Software update -> Download and install in order to grab your update. Once it’s downloaded, install it and restart your phone.
More devices will join soon
Needless to say, this will not be the only One UI 8 beta update that Samsung will push out. It will keep pushing them until the One UI 8 stable update is ready. Other phones will become eligible for the beta program soon, and possibly other countries as well.
