Home inspection software startup Inspectify acquires energy reporting platform Joule

Inspectify, a Seattle startup that sells home inspection software, acquired Joule, a small company that provides energy efficiency insights from home inspection data.

Inspectify has been working with Joule for the past three years to develop “Home Energy Scores” as part of its home inspection process.
Heeral Prakash, who founded Joule in San Francisco in 2020, will support Inspectify as an advisor. Joule, which was bootstrapped, had one other employee.
Founded in 2019, Inspectify has raised $23 million to date, including a $5.3 million round last year. Earlier this year it acquired Aloft, another Seattle real estate startup that focuses on streamlining the appraisal process.
