New Intel gaming GPUs are in the works but launch could take months, says leak
New Intel gaming GPUs weren’t announced at Computex after all, but that doesn’t mean that the chipmaker isn’t hard at work. A new Linux driver update has just teased two previously unknown device IDs with Intel Battlemage codenames, suggesting that one could well be the recently teased Intel Arc B770 for gamers. Meanwhile, a new rumor suggests that, although the company is working on a new GPU, it won’t be ready to launch until the end of the year. Intel caused plenty of speculation that new Intel Arc Battlemage GPUs were on the way before Computex, but only Intel Arc Pro workstation cards were ultimately announced. Those might be quality products but they won't be among the best graphics card options for gamers. Instead, what we need are new Intel gaming GPUs, with these latest leaks possibly hinting such an arrival might be coming.
