Sony is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its online service, PlayStation Plus, in a number of ways. It seems one of those ways is giving its members a discount for accessories on PlayStation Direct.
PS Plus can get 20% off on select accessories on PlayStation Direct
Sony is currently sending out emails to PS Plus subscribers with a discount code that gives players 20% off select accessories on PlayStation Direct (H/T Push Square). PlayStation players can use the discount on accessories including the PS VR2, PS Portal, DualSense Edge controller, and PS5 headsets. The only accessory that isn’t eligible for the discount is the Death Stranding 2 PS5 controller, as well as other pre-order items.
With that being said, players should check their email to see if they got a coupon. I am a PS Plus member and did not receive one, so it may not be available to everyone.
As previously mentioned, Sony is celebrating 15 years of PS Plus by giving its members some free goodies, discounts, and holding several events. This includes a PS Store Exclusive Offer Weekend, which begins tomorrow, June 27, and will offer all subscribers exclusive discounts on PlayStation’s digital storefront.
PS Plus Premium subscribers get a few extra bonuses to celebrate the anniversary. Right now, players can check out a Game Trail of WWE 2K25. On June 30, Premium members can also play a Game Trial of Monster Hunter Wilds. Lastly, until August 12, members can get 15% off on up to 2,000 movies on the Sony Pictures Core library.
Sony is also holding a free online multiplayer weekend. This Saturday and Sunday (June 28 at 12:01 a.m. to June 29 at 11:59 p.m. local time), PlayStation players can play online for free. PS Plus is not required to take part in the free online weekend.
