Digimon Story: Time Stranger Systems Trailer Covers Gameplay

Bandai Namco shared more details about Digimon Story: Time Stranger in a new trailer that went over how gameplay works. The video focused on collecting new Digimon, preparing them for fights, and working alongside them. All told, it spends almost six minutes covering everything. The Digimon Story: Time Stranger video begins with one of the most critical elements of any Digimon video game, which is actually befriending new characters to use. This is done via scanning when you fight new or returning foes. You do end up with a guaranteed starter, but the footage shows how we generate data after analyzing characters we faced a lot. The Scan Rate needs to be at a minimum 100% to create one, but getting to 200% makes it stronger. We train them with Attachment Skills and equipment to make them stronger, building up their abilities and stats. Sending them to a farm lets them train without being on your team and alongside you. Anomaly Points we acquire as we play and fight can help us also get them new skills. Digivolution is possible to gain stronger forms, and you can reset them to try for a different evolution.  Here’s the full Digimon Story: Time Stranger systems trailer that shows off the different types of gameplay elements. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICCFACvxF84 We can expect even more news and reveals about the game soon. Anime Expo is coming up on July 3-6, 2025, and Bandai Namco will attend and feature a booth. We will learn more about the series there, with Digimon Alysion already making a confirmed appearance. The Digimon Times June 2025 program noted Digimon Expo 25 will be held on September 20-21, 2025, and we should see the game there too.  Digimon Story: Time Stranger will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 3, 2025.  The post Digimon Story: Time Stranger Systems Trailer Covers Gameplay appeared first on Siliconera.
