A free PS Store demo has been announced for an intriguing upcoming action adventure game brough to us by Castlevania, Metroid studio MercurySteam. Published by 505 Games, Blades of Fire looks pretty promising, and players will be able to try it out for themselves pretty soon.
Free PS Store demo for Blades of Fire PS5 will release ahead of launch
MercurySteam didn’t provide a release date for Blades of Fire demo, but did say that it’ll be out ahead of the game’s release next week on Thursday, May 22. What’s more is that the trial won’t be locked behind a PS Plus Premium subscription, so rest assured, everyone across all platforms will be able to download it.

According to Blades of Fire’s PS Store listing, the game will be enhanced for the PS5 Pro. Preorders are live now, with a 10% discount for all PS Plus subscribers irrespective of tier. The standard edition costs $59.99.
It’s unclear if Blades of Fire will join PS5’s streaming library for Premium users or not.
