JBL’s Go 4 ultra-portable speaker is now available from Amazon through a pretty good deal that you shouldn’t pass up for more than one reason, but mainly because it’s just a good little speaker. The JBL Go 4 is the little speaker that could, trucking along and blasting your favorite tunes no matter where you are. Because it’s so compact, you can take it with you everywhere, and you’ll never have to worry about having boring, music-less days ever again.

Normally, this speaker would retail for $49.95, but Amazon has it on sale for $39.95 right now, saving you $10, which is a 20% discount. Now, this isn’t the all-time low price, however, the all-time low price is $38, so the current price is only a difference of about $2, and that’s still pretty good. In addition to the sale, Amazon is also throwing in 90 days of Amazon Music with this speaker purchase. We’d say that’s a pretty nice bonus.

The JBL Go 4 may be small, but it packs a punch when it comes to putting out sound. It also has that nifty little loop on the end for hooking it onto things. You could connect a carabiner to it and latch this onto the outside of your bag if you wanted to, for example.

Or, you could just slide your finger through the loop if you want to carry the speaker by hand. It has a battery life of up to 7 hours on a single charge, which is pretty decent and should be enough to last you through the day. It’s also dustproof and waterproof, and it can connect to other JBL speakers that have Auracast for a surround-sound-like experience.
