PS Store Free Game Offers Quick, Relaxing PS5 Platinum Trophy

PS Store has dropped a brand-new free PS5 game that can be completed rather quickly and comes with an easy Platinum trophy. Piece Out: Avatarland is a relaxing puzzle game that rewards players for simply completing a few jigsaw puzzles.

While some would classify Piece Out: Avatarland as AI-generated slop, it’s a free download that neither takes too much of your time nor is it annoying to play. If you enjoy jigsaw puzzles combined with chill music, it’s not a bad game. I’m personally guilty of enjoying these types of games.

Piece Out: Avatarland comes with 12 trophies including the Platinum. The remaining trophies are all gold. Depending on how quickly you complete the puzzles, it’ll take anywhere between 10-20 minutes to complete the game.

In case you’re wondering what the catch is, there’s a possibility that the developer will add premium “DLC” trophies later on to compel players to buy add-ons to maintain 100% completion.

However, at the time of this writing, all we see is an “avatar” bundle being sold separately by the developer, based on the characters in the puzzles. Nothing that impacts the base game.

Piece Out: Avatarland is not available on the PS4. Even shovelware is starting to skip last gen. But, hey, there’s Call of Duty, at least!
