It seems like demos are making a comeback. There are tons of demos available right now for some of the most anticipated games coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch. This includes a recently released demo for a retro-styled beat ’em up based on a critically acclaimed horror franchise.
Terrifier: The ARTcade Game PS5 demo available on PS Store today
Right now, horror fans and gamers can check out Terrifier: The ARTcade Game, an incredibly gruesome beat ’em up based on the beloved modern horror film franchise. This upcoming game is developed by Revelo and published by SelectaPlay and puts players into the clown shoes of Terrifier’s terrifying villain, Art the Clown. Check out the newest trailer below:
“In Terrifier: The ARTcade Game, players step into the role of Art the Clown, the notorious villain from the Terrifier series, as he disrupts movie sets where films about his gruesome acts are being shot,” reads a description of the game. “Instead of letting the cameras capture the staged terror, Art brings his own brand of real chaos, tearing through hordes of policemen, firewomen, camera operators, stunt performers, makeup artists, and even unsuspecting civilians. The vibrant pixel art graphics bring the film’s eerie settings to life, while smooth animations make every attack and finishing move a gory delight.”
The Terrifier: The ARTcade Game demo is playable for a limited time on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. However, a specific time frame has not yet been given. Players may want to act fast on downloading the demo so they have a chance to play the demo.
Terrifier: The ARTcade Game will launch for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A specific release date has yet to be revealed, but it is slated to come later this year. Players can put the game on their PS Store or Steam wishlists right now. The game will also have a Collector’s Edition, which comes with a puke bag.
