‘Xbox PC’ could be Microsoft’s next big move in the gaming industry. This new branding will potentially make the Xbox ecosystem easier to understand, consolidating Microsoft’s PC games and apps under one banner.

Xbox on PC has been a little confusing thus far, given that its Game Pass offering appears on both Xbox and PC, but the latter is commonly known as PC Game Pass. However, as pointed out in a report from Windows Central, a new Xbox PC logo has popped up at the end of a gameplay trailer.

What is Xbox PC?

The Xbox PC logo appeared at the end of a trailer for the upcoming MIO: Memories In Orbit. This is seemingly the first time that the logo has been used.

Xbox PC suggests that Microsoft is looking to put all of its gaming PC content under the same umbrella. This makes sense, considering that this branding has been all over the place so far. As both Windows and Xbox gaming occupy the same ecosystem, with Game Pass libraries accessible on both console and PC, establishing Xbox PC will certainly make this easier to understand for new subscribers.

Although the logo appeared during the new trailer, Microsoft has yet to officially reveal that this will be the new branding for its PC gaming arm.

Watch the trailer below. The new logo can be seen at the end:
