This technology detaches RAN software from hardware, offering more flexibility and scalability for mobile networks. The trial demonstrated Cloud RAN's potential for low-latency applications, particularly in sectors like finance. The collaboration used Nokia’s 5G solution, Dell’s servers, and Red Hat OpenShift for seamless deployment.
