I own Jetbrains license for IDE (IntelliJ, CLion...) and need to propagate them on a VM I've created on my computer. How? [closed]
As a developer, I own Jetbrains license for IDE (I use IntelliJ, CLion, Webstorm and Pycharm mostly) that I've installed on my computer with the Jetbrains toolbox. I've activated it once, either with a link: Please follow the link to proceed with software https://account.jetbrains.com/order/assets/abcdef to proceed with software activation Or my customer ID: 1234 and my license ID: X8L... and everything is going fine. For a project that requires a complex environment to be built, I needed to create a VM based on Debian 12 GNOME with all its requirements. After installing Jetbrains-toolbox and CLion inside, I've faced this situation: My main computer (host, right JetBrains Tools window) says: "You own everything" My VM session (left JetBrains Tools window) said: "You own nothing" Then, I log into JetBrains Toolbox inside my VM and: it recognizes me But Help → Register... menu leads to a Manage Licenses box saying: you are on a trial that will ends in two weeks. It isn't the same license ID that on my host computer. It starts with TN... and not with X8L... If I use the button "Activate Another License", and attempt to reuse my paid license I see listed here, won't this alarm Jetbrains Tools and mark two users of it? What the good way to propagate my license from host to VM, or make me fully recognized on the VM session with all my grants by the JetBrains Tools?

As a developer, I own Jetbrains license for IDE (I use IntelliJ, CLion, Webstorm and Pycharm mostly) that I've installed on my computer with the Jetbrains toolbox.
I've activated it once, either with a link:
Please follow the link to proceed with software https://account.jetbrains.com/order/assets/abcdef to proceed with software activation
Or my customer ID: 1234
and my license ID: X8L...
and everything is going fine.
For a project that requires a complex environment to be built, I needed to create a VM based on Debian 12 GNOME with all its requirements.
After installing Jetbrains-toolbox and CLion inside, I've faced this situation:
- My main computer (host, right JetBrains Tools window) says: "You own everything"
- My VM session (left JetBrains Tools window) said: "You own nothing"
Then, I log into JetBrains Toolbox inside my VM and:
- it recognizes me
- But Help → Register... menu leads to a Manage Licenses box saying: you are on a trial that will ends in two weeks.
It isn't the same license ID that on my host computer. It starts with
TN...
and not withX8L...
