FFXIV Patch 7.3 Debuts in Early August 2025

During the Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LXXXVII with Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida and Global Community Producer Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi, the two confirmed the release window for FFXIV Dawntrail patch 7.3. It will arrive in early August 2025. The two also offered a brief summary of things we can expect to see when the 7.3 patch series starts to roll out. While general teases came up now, there’s no exact schedule for updates yet and the next Letter from the Producer Live will continue to cover 7.3. In order of the Yoshida and Murouchi reveals, here’s a list of things we can expect to see in FFXIV patch 7.3. New Main Scenario Quests (MSQ) will continue Dawntrail’s story. New Allied Society Quests for the Yok Huy will appear in Tural. Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures will continue that side story. A new dungeon called The Meso Terminal will appear. A new Trial with Normal and Extreme difficulties will launch, but Yoshida didn’t share its name. FFXI Echoes of Vana’diel will be in the second part of FFXIV patch 7.3. It will feature a San d’Oria: The Second Walk Alliance Raid. Prishe appeared in the screenshots shared. The Wreath of Snakes (Unreal) Trial will launch. Vault Oneiron will be the new Treasure Dungeon. The new Crystalline Conflict Arena Bayside Battleground will debut. New Crystalline Conflict tiers will be added. Going forward, they will be Unranked, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crystal, Omega, and Ultima, with the top three determined by Crystal Credit. Phaenna will be added as a new Cosmic Exploration Star. Phantom Weapons will get Weapon Enhancement Quests. A New Deep Dungeon called Pilgrim’s Traverse will launch, and there will be a secret Duty tied to it. Optional Chat Bubbles will be added in 7.3. The Whiteboard feature brought up when that was first introduced will be part of 7.4. Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the FFXIV patch 7.3 update arrives in early August 2025.
