"This capital infusion validates our unique approach and fast-tracks our journey to market leadership in satellite life-extension. We’re thrilled to partner with investors like Ashish Kacholia and Vishesh Rajaram who share our vision for an economically vibrant space ecosystem,” he added.
Founded in 2022 by IIT Bombay alumni, InspeCity focuses on extending the operational life of satellites through in-house development of propulsion, robotics, and Rendezvous, Proximity Operations, and Docking (RPOD) technologies. The startup claims to be India’s first vertically integrated platform addressing satellite servicing through indigenous capabilities.
It’s proprietary technology stack includes advanced propulsion systems, robotic arms, and precision sensing suites. These systems have met key technical benchmarks and secured contracts through India’s Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) program. InspeCity is a recipient of the iDEX award, which has played a significant role in the company’s early-stage development and validation.
The startup also aligns its development with India's Make-in-India initiative and is exploring hardware partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region.
