Underrated Open World PS4 Shooter 80% Off on PS Store

An underrated 2019 PS4 open-world shooter is under $10 in a limited-time PS Store deal. Developed by id Software and Avalanche Studios, Rage 2 is 80% off as part of the new Mid-Year Deals Promotion.

Rage 2 is just $7.99 in new limited-time PS Store deal

Players can pick up Rage 2, which is playable on the PS5 via backwards compatibility, for just $7.99 until the sale ends on July 3. Only the base game is discounted, unfortunately, and we can’t quite recommend the Deluxe Edition at a price point of $59.99.

But Rage 2 is well worth $7.99 without the Deluxe Edition bells and whistles. The game is brought down by an underwhelming narrative, but as expected from an id Software shooter, it offers solid gunplay and gameplay mechanics. If you’re looking for a great single-player shooting experience, we certainly recommend Rage 2 at this price.

“An asteroid has annihilated 80% of the earth’s population, and humanity’s numbers are dwindling. Ruthless and bloodthirsty gangs roam the open roads and the tyrannical Authority seek to rule with an iron fist,” an official overview reads. “As Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland and a threat to their power, you have been robbed of your home and left for dead.
