PS5, PS4 losing Beat Saber support but the VR game lives on Steam
Beat Saber will remain available to purchase via PS Store for the foreseeable future and players will continue to have access to content that they purchased. All songs and music packs released prior to June 18 will be playable, but PS5 and PS4 owners won’t be able to play any new content released after this date.
Beat Saber will continue to be updated on Steam, however, which many players are taking as a sign that PSVR, PSVR2 support is on its last leg.
Beat Saber’s PlayStation multiplayer services will end on January 21, 2026. We’re not sure how long the game will remain on sale, but as long as it does, the base game will remain cross-buy between PS5 and PS4.
“Our passion for VR remains unwavering,” wrote Beat Games. “We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and what we can bring to Beat Saber fans who have been on this journey with us over the past 7 years.”
