PS Store Gets Bizarre Free Game With Easy Trophies

The PS Store has added a new free game with easy trophies, and although we’re used to seeing these by now, the addition of this one has us stumped a little bit. The game in question happens to be the third entry of a rather strange series titled “I’m in Love With Your Dead Grandmother.” The freebie is its “Online Battle Royale” variant.

New PS Store free game reflects poorly on Sony

Those who frequently browse the PS Store will have come across I’m in Love With Your Dead Grandmother’s paid versions at some point. We’ve personally never touched these, but when PS Store gets a free game, it compels us to look. So, look we did when we saw I’m in Love With Your Dead Grandmother: Online Battle Royale, but this one really puts Sony‘s PS Store submission policies to shame.

Just to illustrate how bad this one is, even the most obsessed trophy collectors are refusing to touch it. While its Platinum trophy is easy, it’s purposely turned into a grind so that players are compelled to spend money on “DLC” that’ll help pop trophies faster. The video below shows some “gameplay” (if we can even call it that) and what this battle royale looks like:
