AMD’s new budget Radeon gaming GPU looks set to tackle the RTX 5060 Ti
After soundly beating the RTX 5070 with the Radeon RX 9070 XT in March 2025, AMD is now reportedly gearing up to offer a new budget gaming GPU that takes aim at the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. A new leak shows Korean licenses being issued to two Gigabyte graphics cards based on the new AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU, and they show a similar approach to VRAM as the 5060 Ti. The budget gaming GPU market currently has a wide open space waiting for the next generation, and several rumored GPUs are apparently waiting in the wings to fill it. One of them is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, which is rumored to be coming in both 8GB and 16GB versions, and the latest leaks suggest that AMD will be taking the same approach with the Radeon RX 9060 XT.
