New Pixel 10 teaser ad mocks iOS 26, sets up launch

The latest Pixel 10 teaser ad from Google takes another swipe at Apple, while quietly kicking off the hype cycle for the Pixel 10 series. The new “Best Phones Forever” video sees the familiar Pixel and iPhone duo chatting. This time about all the “new” iOS 26 features Apple just announced.

As the iPhone runs through Live Translation, Call Screening, and Hold Assist, the Pixel calmly reminds it that Google already did all that, years ago. Each new iOS feature is met with a casual “I’ve had that for a while.” The tone’s light and cheeky, but the point lands: Apple is playing catch-up.

Then comes the subtle tease. The iPhone asks what the Pixel is working on for the Pixel 10, but the Pixel stays silent. The ad ends with a shot of the Pixel 9 Pro. It feels like the message is clear: the Pixel 10 is coming, and Google’s already planting seeds in our heads.

Backing that up, leaked shots from an ad shoot in Canada show a Pixel 10 Pro (or Pro XL) being filmed at a beach, complete with the tagline: “Ask more of your phone.” It looks like Google is gearing up for a fresh round of software innovations.

No official launch date has been set. However, Google quietly delayed a Pixel Superfans event from June 27 to September, hinting at a fall release window.
