Samsung‘s Galaxy Unpacked event for Summer 2025 will presumably be the official event for unveiling the company’s newest devices in the smartphone and wearables space, and the date for it has just been leaked. So, we now know exactly how long of a wait there is before the public will get to feast their eyes on Samsung’s upcoming devices.

There are already rumors that Galaxy Unpacked for Summer 2025 will be taking place in July. However, there hasn’t been an exact date mentioned until today. This date hasn’t officially been confirmed by Samsung yet. However, the leak is likely accurate, given that it comes from Evan Blass and his leaks are rarely (if ever) off the mark. In a post on X on June 18, Blass shared the official date for Samsung’s next big event. It’s just around the corner, too.

The date for Galaxy Unpacked Summer 2025 will be July 9

According to Blass, the next Unpacked event will happen on July 9 and start promptly at 10AM Eastern Standard Time. This will be at 7AM Pacific Standard Time for people on the West Coast, so you’ll need to be up extra early if you want to see all the details as they “unfold.”

Per most rumors and Samsung’s own teasers, the Summer 2025 Galaxy Unpacked will be the announcement event for its new devices. Specifically, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. It’s also rumored to be where Samsung will announce the Galaxy Watch 8 series. This includes three different watch models this year: The Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025).

The event should be taking place in New York, so the 10AM start time makes sense. The main part of the event will surely focus on Samsung’s new foldable smartphones. A sizeable portion will likely be dedicated to the Galaxy Watch 8 series as well. But will any part of the event cover additional Samsung products outside of these? It’s unclear as of this moment. However, the next Galaxy Unpacked would serve as a perfect launch pad for more details about its Project Moohan headset.

Samsung is one of Google’s leading partners for Android XR. We already know that the headset will be launching later this year. With that in mind, there’s still a lot we don’t know about Project Moohan. Unpacked would be an easy way for Samsung to inform consumers about more of the headset’s details. While also driving up additional hype for the headset’s launch.
