2024 PS5, PS4 Action RPG Shutting Down Already

A 2024 PS5, PS4 action RPG is being delisted and shut down, adding to the long list of 2025 closures. ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle (DanMachi: Battle Chronicle)‘ was previously only set to shut down on PlayStation platforms, but is now pulling the plug on all platforms.

PS5, PS4 RPG ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle’ will be delisted soon

DanMachi: Battle Chronicle (also referred to as DanChro) is free-to-play but will be delisted along with its paid add-ons (virtual currency) on July 30. Those who’ve already downloaded the game and spent money on its microtransactions will be able to play until September 29, following which DanMachi: Battle Chronicle will go offline.

“Our team has been working tirelessly to improve and refine DanChro, striving to create the best possible gaming experience for our players,” developer Aiming Inc. wrote. “However, we have reached a point where we believe it is difficult to maintain the level of service that meets our players’ expectations. With deep regret, we have made the difficult decision to terminate the game’s service.”

DanMachi: Battle Chronicle’s end of service means its trophies will be unobtainable as well, so if you’re working towards the Platinum, now is the time to wrap things up.
