Oppo Find N5 Flip leak hints at bigger cover screen, but don’t get your hopes up yet
Oppo Find N5 Flip leak reveals a bigger cover display and triple camera, but a patent doesn’t guarantee a launch. Here’s what we know. The post Oppo Find N5 Flip leak hints at bigger cover screen, but don’t get your hopes up yet appeared first on Phandroid.

It looks like Oppo isn’t quite done with flip phones just yet. The first Oppo Find N5 Flip leak is here, showing what could be the company’s next clamshell foldable. The new model skips the number four (not a surprise, given the unlucky vibes in China) and picks up right after the Find N3 Flip, which dropped about a year ago.
So, what’s different this time? A fresh patent filing spotted on WIPO by the folks at Xpert Pick reveals some early 2D and 3D sketches of the supposed Oppo Find N5 Flip. One of the standout features is a much larger cover screen and three vertically stacked cameras on the back. It’s an upgrade over the Find N3 Flip’s smaller panel. This alone would make it a lot more usable for quick replies and checking notifications.
Before you get too excited, know that this is just a patent. Companies love filing patents for everything, even if most of it never gets released. The Find N5 Flip leak shows Oppo is at least thinking about another flip phone. However, it’s nowhere near official yet.
This gets even confusing when you remember earlier reports claiming the Find N5 Flip was actually cancelled. That’s what makes this patent interesting—maybe Oppo hasn’t given up, or maybe they just want to keep their options open. It’s worth keeping your expectations low for now. Until Oppo confirms anything, treat this Find N5 Flip leak as just that—a leak.
