This "much-requested time saver" aims to simplify internet access when encountering captive Wi-Fi networks in places like hotels, office buildings, or gyms by only requiring the user to enter information on one device.Gurman notes that Apple is about a month away from its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, where it typically showcases new features for developers and customers. He says the company faces pressure this year due to AI setbacks, rising competition, and possible tariffs — and will need to avoid repeating last year's missteps, such as announcing Siri improvements that still haven't shipped.The new Wi-Fi syncing capability is expected to be among the announcements.
