Huawei recently unveiled the Pura 80 series of smartphones at an event in its home market of China. Now, the company is planning to launch the Pura 80 series in global markets next month. Huawei has started teasing the upcoming event on its global social networking channels.

After China, Huawei is all set to launch the Pura 80 series in global markets

The official poster shows that Huawei will announce the global launch of the Pura 80 series smartphones at an event on July 10 in Dubai. In China, Huawei unveiled four new models in the series: the Pura 80, 80 Pro, 80 Pro+, and 80 Ultra. There’s no word from the brand regarding the availability of all new models in global markets. The event’s invite shows the Pura 80 Ultra, which is the most high-end model in the new Pura 80 range.

The Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, and Pura 80 Ultra could launch globally

Huawei did not launch the Pura 70 Pro+ in global markets last year. Perhaps, Huawei will take the same road this year as well, skipping the Pura 80 Pro+ model and launching the Pura 80, 80 Pro, and 80 Ultra phones for global consumers. Huawei released the Pura 70 series globally at a starting price of €999 in Europe, and we can expect the Pura 80 to launch in a similar price range this year.

The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra will be the star of the global launch event next month. It features an interesting camera design, which has two telephoto lenses sharing a single camera sensor. Huawei has fitted the phone with a 50MP one-inch ultra-high dynamic main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, a 12.5MP ultra-telephoto lens, a 40MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 1.5MP multispectral sensor. Huawei’s Pura 80 Ultra can support dual optical zoom levels at 3.7x and 9.4x, with 100x digital zoom and advanced sensor-shift stabilization.

As for the other highlights, the Pura 80 Ultra has a 6.8-inch OLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Huawei has powered the phone with the Kirin 9020 processor, accompanied by 16GB of RAM. A 5,700mAh battery with 100W wired, 80W wireless, and 18W wired reverse charging support keeps the whole package alive.
