Sony’s online video game service, PlayStation Plus, has given members tons of ways to play its games at no additional cost. Unsurprisingly, some of the most popular games available through the service are PS4 and PS5 exclusives.
PS Plus Game Catalog users love PS4, PS5 exclusives
In a recent PS Blog post, Sony is celebrating the 15th anniversary of PS Plus. It is here where the company named some of the recent top-played games users have been playing through its Game Catalog perk, which is available for Extra and Premium subscribers. Based on playtime hours between April 1 and May 28, the most played games were Ghost of Tsushima, God of War Ragnarok, Grand Theft Auto 5, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and The Last of Us Part 1.
They also note that the PS Plus Monthly Games benefit, which is available for all subscribers of the service and was once known as the Instant Game Collection, has offered more than 500 monthly games since its inception.
“PlayStation Plus is celebrating its 15-year anniversary later this month, and it’s amazing to see how much the service has evolved since it first launched on June 29, 2010,” says Sony Interactive Entertainment VP Nick Maguire in the post. “From all of us at Sony Interactive Entertainment, we want to send out a huge thank you to all our fans for your support throughout these years.”
Speaking of the PS Plus Monthly Games benefit, Sony also announced its July 2025 lineup, which includes three great video games. Specifically, Diablo 4, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant will all be available for all PS Plus subscribers to download on July 1. Users will have until August 4 to claim the offer.
