Secret Theater Returns in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

During Konami Press Start 2025, the company kicked off with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and showed its Bomberman crossover content, the return of Secret Videos, and an online Fox Hunt hide-and-seek mode. Brief footage of all three elements came up during the showcase. Snake vs Bomberman is in the Xbox Series X version of the game instead of the Snake vs Monkey Ape Escape crossover. In it, we attack various Bomberman characters with bombs to defeat them. With Secret Theater videos, those will return in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. However, accessing them will be different. While in the past they were on sites or visible in Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, here they are collectibles found on enemies. In the one gameplay example, we see Naked Snake get a “The Beginning is The End” Secret Theater video. The showcase also confirmed that new ones will be added to past ones. Finally, Fox Hunt Mode is still something of a mystery, but it will be the online multiplayer experience in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The presentation described it as new and totally original. It will also rely on stealth, like the main game, and balance hide and seek with running to find other players.
