During an interview with GameSpot at Summer Game Fest Play Days, producer Akihito Kadowaki cites how busy Capcom has been with why there has been such a big gap between the release of new Onimusha titles."There [were] actually a lot of people within Capcom who wanted to make a new Onimusha title. However, as you probably know, Capcom makes a lot of titles every year and it requires a lot of manpower to do that.
