Dark fantasy action RPG Lost in Random was one of my favorite surprises in recent years. Drawing inspiration from Brothers Grimm’s dark fairy tales, the work of Tim Burton, and the classic Oddworld games, indie developer Zoink created a striking and inventive tale in a world where all fates are determined by the roll of dice. Four years on, the studio is now part of Thunderful, and it’s just launched a roguelike sequel called Lost in Random: The Eternal Die.
