Google Is Dealing with a Menace Far Cuter Than Apple
Fox

Sometimes, the biggest problem for a major tech giant isn’t competition from other tech brands. Sometimes, it’s as simple as a bunch of woodland creatures. Google is currently battling a fox problem in its London HQ.

Obviously, Google is a massive company. As such, it has offices in several places. Many of them are located in the U.S. However, it’s currently working on an office in King’s Courts in London, England. The construction project will cost the company £1 billion to complete. The HQ has been under construction for a few years, and it’s a pretty big building. It is projected to have 11 stories and provide a total of 861,100 square feet of office space. Upon completion, it will be the 8th largest building in Europe by office space.

According to reports, there have been numerous sightings around the construction site. Not only have the foxes been able to make it onto the grounds, but they’ve also been able to make it onto several floors. In fact, one of the biggest issues is the fact that foxes have made it onto the roof and dig holes.

No, these foxes are not digging through concrete. The top of the London building is a massive garden with over 40,000 tons of soil. People are finding that the garden is riddled with holes.

There’s a little hole in the garden where one lives,” said one witness, “We’ve seen her all around the building – one second she’s on the fifth floor, the next she’s on the garden floor. No one has been able to catch her.” So, it appears that this will be an ongoing issue as the building reaches completion.

How have the foxes been sustaining themselves? Well, it appears that they’ve been living off of scraps from construction workers and offerings from people. Also, and this might be a bit ironic, but they may be living off of rats, another infestation.

This is an odd issue, but it’s not all too unexpected. One London pest control expert said, “London is a big playground for foxes – they will go absolutely anywhere.” So, along with battling Apple and Samsung, Google will also have to battle foxes.
