YourStory GCC Summit 2025 hosts thought leaders as Indian talent, tech attract GCC hubs

Global Capability Centres (GCCs) have emerged as the north star of the Indian technology industry. They don’t just execute specific tasks offsite but have evolved into destinations of innovation and deep technology work. The segment has shown impressive growth in India and is expected to flourish in the years to come as a multi-billion dollar juggernaut.

YourStory, a leading new-age Indian digital media company, has positioned itself to capture the essence and nuances of the GCCs in India through its inaugural YourStory GCC Summit 2025 to be held on June 13 at The Marriott Whitefield in Bengaluru.

The theme of the Summit is - From India to the world: GCCs driving global impact.

Today, India boasts of being home to over 1,900 GCCs, according to a NASSCOM-KPMG report, with most notable global corporations setting up their GCC presence in the country for strategic planning. Now, even mid-tier companies have expressed interest in setting up their GCCs in India. The primary reason for such a high interest in India, in short, is the abundance of high-quality talent.

The YourStory GCC Summit 2025 will capture all that is happening in the Indian GCC ecosystem through panel discussions, fireside chats with industry experts, and conversations with CXOs.

Insightful discussions

The summit is ready to showcase different ideas, perspectives, and viewpoints on all that is happening in the India GCC landscape, giving an opportunity for industry stakeholders to brainstorm about its growth.

The long list of speakers includes CXOs, senior managers, and technology professionals, who come from different industries, be it financial services, retail, automotive, pure-play technology companies, consultancies, etc. These 25 experts represent a wide range of companies, from bluechip companies to startups.

The agenda of the summit features a mix of panel discussions, thought leadership and vibrant interactions.

Arindam Banerrji, Executive Vice President & Country Head, State Street India, will share how GCCs in India are transforming the global operations of banks, while Jimmi James, Senior Director, Lowe’s Catalyze will provide insights on co-creating new consumer experiences, especially for the retail industry.

The summit will also host Arun Ramamurthy, Enterprise Sales Leader, GCC, Google Cloud, who will talk about Google Cloud’s Agentic Data to AI platform. Also, there will be discussions on human-AI partnerships in enterprises and how GCC from India are creating technology for global applications.

Beyond technology, the conference will also hold discussions on workplace design and creating an environment to bring out the next set of leaders.

The summit will also recognise the outstanding achievers both in terms of companies and individuals. Given the strides the GCC segment has made over the years, it is apt that there is a commensurate recognition and awards will be given in 10 categories, including one for a women leader.

At the summit, YourStory will issue a report on the state of GCCs in India. The event will also host a hackathon, with the winner to be announced later in the day.
