Samsung Galaxy S25 – $675
The Samsung Galaxy S25, released on February 7, 2025, features a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It boasts a triple-lens camera system, including a 50MP main sensor, and offers advanced AI capabilities through Galaxy AI and One UI 7.
Right now, Amazon has the Galaxy S25 on sale for just $734 for the 256GB model. The 128GB model is not discounted right now, which makes the 256GB option cheaper. That also makes the iPhone 16 look like a pretty bad joke, since you’re getting double the storage for only $35 more, not to mention a 120Hz display.
Keep in mind that the models on Amazon are unlocked; however, they don’t have the Samsung.com exclusive colors. So there are navy, silver shadow, icyblue, and mint colors only.
The Galaxy S25 is the smallest of Samsung’s three Galaxy S25 models that were released this year. It sports a 6.2-inch FHD+ display powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. It also has 12GB of RAM, 128GB of storage (with options for 256GB and 512GB), and a 4,000 mAh capacity battery powering the whole thing. It’s one of the few “small” phones still on the market. It’s actually quite a bit smaller than the Pixel 9 (and Pixel 9 Pro).
The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy that is inside the Galaxy S25 series is actually a fully custom AP that Qualcomm and Samsung developed. This allows it to better integrate with the camera and other internals of the phone. Samsung says that this makes their version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite more efficient than their competitors, and so far, in our testing of the three Galaxy S25 phones, that does seem to be true.
The Galaxy S25 is a really good, well-rounded phone from Samsung, even if it is still quite similar to last year’s phone.
