One UI 8 Beta 2 is coming soon with improvements and several fixes
As per the source, Samsung is internally testing the One UI 8 Beta 2 update on the Galaxy S25 series under the build “ZYF1.” In the upcoming firmware, the company has updated the home screen app, One UI Home, to version 17.0.00.127 from version 17.0.00.113. The source reports that the new version has improved the functionality and appearance of the home screen. However, the exact details regarding the new features aren’t available at the moment.
Furthermore, Samsung has fixed a strange app drawer that arrived in the first beta, in which the space between apps and the search bar looks odd. However, the new beta build will fix this problem, and the app drawer will be back to normal. Besides, the new firmware will improve the home screen widgets. In the first beta, the widgets aren’t resizing properly. But Samsung will fix this issue in the next beta update.
Samsung could expand the One UI 8 Beta program to more countries soon
Samsung offered a limited number of slots in the phase 1 participation of the One UI 8 Beta program. However, the company could soon expand the program with more slots in the coming days. The brand could expand the availability of the program to India and Poland with the upcoming second One UI 8 Beta build.
If we believe the rumors, Samsung might add more Galaxy flagship devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy S23 series, and the Galaxy S22 lineup, to the beta program soon. The Galaxy S23 series could get the beta build update at some point next month. So far, the company has only confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 foldables will arrive with the stable One UI 8 build next month.
