Galaxy Buds Core leaks point to ANC, Galaxy AI, and July 9 launch

Galaxy Buds Core could be Samsung’s next budget-friendly earbuds, and they’re likely arriving very soon. According to a report from Sammy Guru, Samsung India has started teasing the product with the tagline “Let the music move you to the core.”

The official Samsung Shop app has also started sending early notifications mentioning the Galaxy Buds Core by name. A brief product listing appeared on Samsung UAE before being pulled. Everything points to a launch at Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9.

The Galaxy Buds Core are expected to replace last year’s Galaxy Buds FE. Based on early details, the earbuds are rumored to include active noise cancellation and Galaxy AI features like Interpreter and Live Translate. This will work when paired with supported Galaxy phones. They’ll connect via Bluetooth 5.4, and will support AAC, SBC, and Samsung’s Scalable codec.

Each bud includes touch sensors and is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance. With ANC on, you’ll have up to 20 hours of battery life, or 35 hours if you turn ANC off. Each earbud holds a 65mAh battery, while the charging case has a 500mAh cell.

In terms of size and weight, the buds come in at 5.3g each, and the case weighs 31.2g. That puts them right in line with most lightweight, compact true wireless earbuds today.
