Switch 2 Supply Should Be Ready For Demand In US, Says Nintendo Of America Boss

Nintendo of America sounds confident that Switch 2 supply should be in pretty good shape this year domestically. Sure, preorders sold out almost instantly for the June 5 launch, but company president Doug Bowser believes they have a good production plan for 2025--including the busy holiday season.Speaking to IGN, Bowser was asked about meeting Switch 2 demand in the US. "​​As we look at our plans here in the US, we do believe we'll have production and supply that will allow us to meet consumer demand," said the Nintendo of America president. "We know there's been strong positive reaction to Nintendo Switch 2 early on and we've seen that through our preorders, but we do have a plan to have a continuous flow of product that'll be available through the holidays."This echoes what Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said earlier this month. He stated that production wasn't a driving factor in forecasting 15 million unit sales of the upcoming system.
