The Motorola Razr 2025 is essentially the exact same device as the 2024 model, with a few internal upgrades, like the processor. So the Motorola Razr 2025 size is the same as the 2024, which is 171.3 x 74 x 7.3mm when unfolded and 88.1 x 74 x 15.9mm when folded. It also weighs in at 188g, or about 6.63 ounces.

Motorola has outfitted the Razr 2025 with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, which makes it one of the few smartphones released in the US with a MediaTek device. It also comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. These are pretty incredible specs for a device that is just $699. You typically don’t see that much storage on a device that costs that much. So this is good to see from Motorola.

It also has dual rear-facing cameras, which use a 50-megapixel primary sensor that has a f/1.7 aperture, and it’s around 1/1.95″ in size. Then there’s the ultrawide, which is a 13-megapixel shooter at a f/2.2 aperture with a 1/3″ sensor size. The front-facing camera is a 32-megapixel sensor that has a f/2.4 aperture and a sensor size of 1/3.14″.

Powering the Motorola Razr 2025 is going to be a 4,500mAh battery. This can be charged at 30W wired or 15W wireless. There’s no charger in the box, however.

Motorola is owning the flip phone market right now

When you see what Motorola is doing with the Razr, it’s not hard to see why they are owning the flip phone market right now. Not only is Motorola offering more options at lower price-points compared to Samsung, they are also offering better features. Like the ability to run full Android apps on the cover display. Samsung does allow this, but it’s only for a handful of apps and only after enabling a few options in Labs.
