Just a few days after its delay, Rockstar Games revealed a brand-new trailer for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. Additionally, tons of new screenshots and artwork give eager players a good look at the game’s cast.
New GTA 6 trailer showcases a modern Vice City
The newest trailer, titled “Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2,” introduces viewers to the game’s protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos as well as a modern Vice City. Check out the brand new trailer below to see the new footage, which was captured on PS5:
“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them,” reads the game’s description. “But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
The GTA 6 official website has been overhauled as well, adding a ton of new details about the cast. Along with Jason and Lucia, there are introductions to Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, and Brian Heder. Additionally, there is information about its expanded Vice City, with details about locations like the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga. Anyone wanting to see all those new details can check them out right here.
The GTA 6 site also has a ton of new screenshots and artwork to get a better look at how these characters will look in-game. Take a peek at some of these screenshots below.
GTA 6 was recently delayed from its general 2025 release window. In Rockstar Games’ announcement, it stated it needed more time to get the game at the “level of quality” players “expect and deserve.”
GTA 6 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 26, 2026.
