Another PS4 Shooter Quietly Delisted From PS Store
PS5, PS4 shooter

A 2019 PS4 action shooter has been quietly pulled from the PS Store. Developed by High Voltage Software, Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip was delisted sometime last week. The top-down twin-stick shooter was based on the 2019 movie of the same name.

PS4 shooter Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip’s PS Store delisting leaves players confused

Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip’s delisting is a bit puzzling because the Zombieland IP is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The only “warning” we found was on the game’s Steam page, which states, “This game and any related DLCs and bundles will be removed from sale on May 9, 2025.”

Double Tap – Road Trip is no longer available on the console store or the PS App, but a PS Store webpage for the game is still up in “announced” state. We’re pretty sure the game isn’t coming back, though.

High Voltage Software has some bangers in its portfolio, but unfortunately, Double Tap – Road Trip was a huge miss. It currently holds a Metacritic average of 39 percent.

The game’s delisting makes us wonder how long PSVR2 game Zombieland: Headshot Fever Reloaded will remain on the PS Store. The VR game released in 2023 to positive reviews and holds a user rating of 4.27/5 on PSN.

We advise picking up Headshot Fever Reloaded sooner rather than later if you’re interested in the title.
