Underrated Action RPG Just $3 on PS Store With Free DLC

A PS5, PS4 action role-playing game is on sale for just $2.99 on the PS Store. Originally released in 2020 followed by a PS5 release in 2021, Cold Symmetry’s Mortal Shell earned positive reviews overall, and garnered a cult following. Players can now pick up the Enhanced Edition for a few bucks.

Mortal Shell is 90% off in PS Store ‘Big Games, Big Deals’ sale

Although all versions of Mortal Shell are down to just $2.99, we don’t see a reason for players to pick up anything other than the Enhanced Edition, which is available on both the PS5 and PS4.

The Enhanced Edition comes with “uncompromised” 60 frames-per-second gameplay, 4K resolution, and “ultra high-quality” textures.

Mortal Shell also has two DLC packs on the PS Store, one of which is completely free. The “Rotting Christ” pack adds alternative boss fight soundtrack by a Greek black metal band of the same name. The track list includes:

The Voice Of Universe

There’s also a premium “Virtuous Cycle” add-on, which is a roguelike expansion for Mortal Shell. The expansion is 20% off right now, going for $6.39 until the sale ends on May 8.

PS Plus Premium users can stream Mortal Shell.
