My Journey from Web2 Data Analytics to Web3 On-Chain Analysis
I’ve been in data analytics for over three years—officially. Unofficially, it’s been much longer. My work has mostly involved collecting, cleaning, and visualizing data, with projects ranging from general insights to analyzing how students' mental health affects their academics. But recently, I decided to switch things up. Web3 is the next big wave, and I don’t want to be left behind. So, I’m diving into on-chain analysis—not just out of curiosity but because I see real opportunities here. Web2 vs. Web3: A Whole New Ball Game One thing that hit me immediately? Blockchain data is unpredictable. In Web2, patterns are easier to recognize. In Web3, things move fast—real-time transactions, unexpected market shifts, and trends influenced by just a single tweet. It’s a different kind of challenge, but that’s part of the thrill. The Struggles Are Real Honestly, learning Web3 analytics has been a struggle. New concepts, new tools, new ways of thinking. Some things still don’t make complete sense to me, but I’m figuring it out, one step at a time. The decentralization and endless opportunities in this space make it worth it. What’s Next? Right now, my focus is on landing a Web3 job and working on different blockchain projects. I’m learning, applying new skills, and trying to find my place in this space. Let’s Talk If you’re also diving into Web3 (or already deep in it), let’s connect. What are your go-to resources for on-chain analysis? Any advice for someone just starting? Drop a comment—I’m here to learn.

Web2 vs. Web3: A Whole New Ball Game
One thing that hit me immediately? Blockchain data is unpredictable. In Web2, patterns are easier to recognize. In Web3, things move fast—real-time transactions, unexpected market shifts, and trends influenced by just a single tweet. It’s a different kind of challenge, but that’s part of the thrill.
The Struggles Are Real
Honestly, learning Web3 analytics has been a struggle.
