The Sinking City for PS5 is 90% off on the PS Store
Frogwares’ The Sinking City for PS5 is currently 90% off on the PS Store for PlayStation Plus subscribers. This means those interested in grabbing the game can buy it for just $4.99. PS5 players will want to act fast on this one as the offer ends on April 10.
“The Sinking City is an adventure and investigation game set in an open world inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft, the master of Horror,” reads the game’s description. “The half-submerged city of Oakmont is gripped by supernatural forces. You’re a private investigator, and you have to uncover the truth of what has possessed the city… and the minds of its inhabitants.”
When Frogwares launched for the PS4 back in 2019, its reception was decent. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average review score of 71 across 47 critic reviews.
The PS5 version of The Sinking City does feature a few improvements from its PS4 counterpart. Specifically, it runs in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, features improved visuals, and boasts DualSense support.
Frogwares recently announced The Sinking City Remastered, a new version of the developer’s adventure game built in Unreal Engine 5. Along with the reveal, it announced owners of the current PS5 version will receive the remaster for free. So, if you were looking forward to the remaster, this deal is a very good way to get the upcoming game at a cheaper price. This offer is also only for the PS5 version, not the PS4 version.
