Fortnite Map Changes In Star Wars: Galactic Battle Season

Fortnite's new Star Wars: Galactic Battle season arrives May 2. Epic Games transforms parts of the Chapter 6 island to a galaxy far, far, away. You can expect smuggler outposts, a hangar of TIE fighters, and holograms of some of the most popular characters in the galaxy.In this guide, we'll show you the new map for Galactic Battle. The updated island includes several Star Wars-themed places of interest (POI) you've not seen before, and we'll also show you which parts of last season's island are coming back mostly intact. First, let's highlight the new Star Wars POIs.Lego Fortnite is getting a Star Wars festival, and here is everything coming to Fortnite battle royale in Galactic Battle. Fortnite Star Wars: Galactic Battle map and new named locationsFor this Galactic Battle season, the new named locations are mostly POIs found on coastal areas of the island. Starting northeast and going clockwise, the new POIs are:First Order BaseOutpost EnclaveVader Samurai's SolitudeResistance BaseFirst Order Base replaces Demon's Dojo in the northeast corner of the map. This keeps the snowy mountain biome of the area and adds a villainous base for the Order. This location includes a hangar for repairing damaged First Order TIE fighters, and Captain Phasma can be battled here. Defeating her in battle earns you the Mythic Captain Phasma F-11D Blaster and Phasma’s Blaster Medallion.In the southeast corner of the map, Outpost Enclave replaces the colorful Japanese settlement called Hopeful Heights with a dusty base that looks based on Tatooine.For the southwest corner, Shogun's Solitude is transformed into Vader Samurai's Solitude. This is now Vader's personal fortress. Here you'll fight Stormtrooper samurai guards, and you can challenge Vader himself.Resistance Base replaces Whiffy Wharf in the northwest corner of the map. The underground Resistance command center is shrouded in foliage. Here, you'll find X-Wings to pilot and plenty of loot.Starting on May 29, the Star Destroyer will become another POI you can visit. A single portal to the Star Destroyer's control room will spawn every match.Despite the Star Wars areas added to the map, Chapter 6 continues to hold on its Japanese inspirations. Even Vader is a Samurai here. Fortnite Star Wars: Galactic Battle map and new named locations
