FBC Firebreak, Remedy’s weird new Control FPS, finally gets launch date
I think I speak for most people when I say that we're done with multiplayer shooters. 2024 saw the rise and fall of supposed behemoths like Concord and XDefiant, and while 2025 has seen newcomers like Fragpunk make a decent dent, the interest in FPS games seems to be at an all-time low. Enter FBC Firebreak, a bizarre new co-op shooter from Alan Wake and Max Payne developer Remedy Entertainment. Set in the chaotic world of Control, it's certainly the most interesting take on the genre that I've seen in quite some time, and now it has a release date.
