AI startup Hyperbots raises $6.5M Series A co-led by Arkam and Athera Ventures

Agentic AI platform Hyperbots has raised $6.5 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Arkam Venturesand Athera Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from JSW Ventures, along with existing backers Kalaari Ventures, Sunicon Ventures, and Darashaw & Company.

Headquartered in the US, with an engineering center in India, the firm develops AI co-pilots for mid-market finance teams.

“Securing this investment is far more than fresh capital—it is our springboard for a new era of finance-and-accounting transformation in the US mid-market,” said Rajeev Pathak, Co-founder and CEO of Hyperbots.

“With our proprietary, domain-trained AI models and agentic workflow engine, we can finally automate the heavy, error-prone work that’s been holding finance teams back. This round gives us the resources to deepen our R&D, accelerate go-lives, and build a GTM ecosystem that will let every mid-market CFO run world-class F&A operations—at a fraction of today’s cost and effort,” he added.

The fresh capital will be utilised to expand its go-to-market initiatives in the US and launch new AI co-pilots, including HyperLM, a large language model (LLM) trained specifically on finance and accounting data.

According to the company, its AI assistants achieve over 80% straight-through processing for finance documents, 99.8% accuracy in structuring data, and up to an 80% reduction in manual intervention.

“We were impressed by the accuracy and product breadth of the Hyperbots agentic AI suite for such a young company.  We are excited to back the Hyperbots team that combines deep AI expertise with a relentless focus on customer value and satisfaction,” said Bala Srinivasa, Managing Director, Arkam Ventures.

Founded in 2023 by Niyati Chhaya, Ram Jayaraman, and Rajeev Pathak, Hyperbots offers agentic AI-native co-pilots that automate core finance workflows such as procure-to-pay (PTP), order-to-cash (OTC), expense management, analytics, and other processes.

The platform has been built by working with more than 25 US design partners for over 18 months, and integrates with major ERP, CRM, and finance systems.

Hyperbots serves clients across healthcare, media, manufacturing, robotics, EV infrastructure, retail, construction, oil & gas distribution, pharma, and real estate. The startup expects to exceed 100 clients by the end of this fiscal year.
