Stellar Blade was a surprise hit when it launched last year. It seems developer Shift Up will continue that success this year with a PC version of the game, as well as a new Complete Edition.
When is the Stellar Blade PC and PS5 Complete Edition release date?
The official PlayStation YouTube channel accidentally released a new trailer for Stellar Blade, which has now been taken down as of this writing. However, that wasn’t before fans were able to capture it themselves and post it on the Stellar Blade subreddit. The Stellar Blade PC release date is June 11. Alongside its move to a new platform, the Complete Edition was revealed and come to both PS5 and PC on that same day.
The Stellar Blade Complete Edition comes with plenty of content for new players to enjoy. This includes the full game, Planet Diving Suit (Captain) for Eve, Fluffy Bear Pack Drone Cosmetics, and the Nikke and Nier: Automata DLC. Additonally, players who preorder will receive Classic Round Glasses, Ear Armor Earrings, and Planet Diving Suit (White Edition) for Eve.
A price for the Stellar Blade PC version and Complete Edition has not yet been revealed. However, as the video was accidentally released prematurely, it shouldn’t be too long until we get every detail about the upcoming release.
Stellar Blade reviewed well when it launched last year. On the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an 81 across 134 critic reviews. It was also recognized during award season at several award shows, including The Game Awards. In the PS Blog’s Game of the Year Awards, it took the Platinum trophy for Best New Character.
Stellar Blade also did well in sales. It did so well, Shift Up gave all of its employees a 5 million won bonus (equivalent to $3,400 USD), as well as a PS5 Pro.
