A PS Plus Extra game that Sony announced would be removed in a month’s time has already left the service for a large number of subscribers. For some reason, Avicii Invector is not available to download for PS Plus Extra members, but the situation gets a little more awkward as we dig into it.
PS Plus Extra game Avicii Invector was scheduled to be pulled in June 2025
Avicii Invector was added to PS Plus Extra catalog back in 2022. It was one of the first few hundred games added to the revamped service. Apparently, sometime over the last few months, it disappeared from the Extra tier but has been available to stream for Premium members.
We don’t mean to cause any offense here, but Avicii Invector isn’t exactly a game that’s highly sought after, so nobody noticed this change until the game was announced as one of June 2025’s six (thus far) PS Plus departures. It’s only then that some players brought up that Avicii Invector was already gone, and when we looked into it further, we found some comments from Premium users who seem to have been aware that it was only available to stream, not download, for several months now.
We’re pretty sure this is another one of those random PSN bugs, but considering Avicii Invector is leaving the service next month, we’re not sure if Sony will bother fixing the issue or not.
