The new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is finally official, after months of teasers from Samsung. And, we expect this to be their low-volume Galaxy S25 model. We’re not expecting many to be buying this phone, and Samsung seems to be thinking the same thing. This is essentially their “halo” product. Something that’s cutting-edge and gets people talking. Which is why the Galaxy S25 Edge is not available with 1TB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will start at 256GB of storage, with an option to jump up to 512GB. And during the pre-order phase, from now until May 30, you will get the 512GB for the price of 256GB, which is $1,099. This is Samsung’s usual double the storage promo that it does for every device it launches.

While the Galaxy S25 Edge does not come with 1TB of storage, the 512GB that most pre-orderers will get should be more than plenty of storage. Even with all of the storage that AI services and features are going to be taking up. Keep in mind that Samsung is going to be supporting the Galaxy S25 Edge for the next 7 years with 7 years of updates. So you could keep this one for quite some time.

Is 512GB of storage enough?

For most people, yes. It will be more than enough. After all of the pre-installed apps and services, you should have well over 400GB of space available for your apps, music, photos, videos ,and other things. Which is plenty, unless you’re planning to download a whole library of music. On my 256GB Galaxy S25 Ultra, I still have well over 100GB available. So, unless you’re a hoarder, it will be enough.

Inside the Galaxy S25 Edge, there is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, 12GB of RAM and a 3,900mAh capacity battery. We don’t expect that battery to perform that well, but it does at least have 25W charging, so you can top up pretty easily.
