24GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 Super GPU is coming sooner than expected, says leak

Nvidia may have very quickly realized that most of its latest GPUs need to come with more VRAM as standard, as a new leak states that a 24GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card “will be released at the end of the year,” which is much sooner than expected. The new GPU looks as though it will be called either the RTX 5080 Ti or RTX 5080 Super, and could quickly take over from the standard 16GB 5080, which was launched earlier this year. Largely thanks to the lack of high-end competition, my RTX 5080 review was largely favorable, gaining it a place on our best graphics card guide. However, I was also surprised to find that this expensive GPU couldn’t run our Full RT Indiana Jones and the Great Circle benchmark at 4K, with the lack of VRAM turning the game into a stuttery mess. It’s a situation that Nvidia could easily address by adding an extra 8GB to the frame buffer.
