Update So Far

So I tried learning the basics of unreal engine and so far the things I covered consists of understanding the blueprint mechanism. Frankly I didn't like it much as it is literally visual scripting and I liked coding in c# but I know that it has its own advantages. I tried creating a character model in blender and played around with the animations but it is not my cup of tea. So I have switched to a simpler project of a car game first . So far I have watched a youtube video and learned how to rig it and added a few animations . Things I learned : 1) Model Rigging in blender 2) Character Input in Unreal using Blueprints .P.S it drifts [only a tiny bit though :)] 3) Camera Controls 4) Unreal also has a torque curve which is the coolest thing I have encountered because it helped me make the car as realistic in controlling as possible 5) Car Wheel Animations Things I need to do further: 1) Add Sounds 2) Create a timer checkpoint system 3) Create NPC to race with 4) A Menu TLDR : Just followed a youtube video to learn how to do stuff
