PSA: New PS Plus April Game Has Free DLC on PS Store

The free PS Plus games for this month are available to redeem now across all subscription tiers. RoboCop: Rogue City, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre are available for Essential, Plus, and Premium subscribers at no additional cost. Even better, one of these games has free DLC available right now.
What is the free The Texas Chain Saw Massacre DLC?
On the PS Store (as pointed out in this Reddit post), there are two Chainsaw Skin Variants packs for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for free. The first pack includes the Pristine, Stickers, and Rusty skins, while the second includes the Bloody, Grimy, and Muddy skins. Both these packs seem permanently free, so no rush to claim the free goodies. Players can find the first pack here, and the second here.
Something players do need to rush to claim are these free PS Plus games for April 2025. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, along with RoboCop: Rogue City and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, will be available to redeem until May 5. Once that date arrives, those games will no longer be free, and will be replaced with another set of games.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an asymmetrical survival horror game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Gun Interactive. Released in 2023, the game based on the long-running iconic film franchise was met with mixed critical reception. According to review aggregate site Metacritic, the Leatherface simulator received an average score of 72 across 28 critic reviews.
“As a victim you must use your wits and stealth to stay out of the Family’s reach and find the tools you need to lead to your eventual freedom,” reads the game’s description. “Slaughter Family players must seek out, track down, and stop their guests from escaping. Players of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre can finally find out if they have what it takes to survive.”
