And the best part? It will ask you about your dream job, the role you are targeting, the domain, and then the job description.

After that, you need to fill in all your info - from your contact info to experience, education, and more. I've simply asked ChatGPT for some dummy data to fill in here.

You see, I can further customize it, get the resume score, and on the right side, it suggests a number of improvements using AI.

Talking about the pricing, it's completely free to generate a resume with AI, and you can even download your resume in PDF format.

Now, this is more than just an AI resume builder since it offers extra features like a job application tracker, resume checker, resume summary generator, and cover letter generator.

What I really like is how it works: First, you need to add the job you want to apply for, either manually or by using the Teal Chrome extension to save jobs.

I know, it's not an AI resume builder, but let me be honest - it's one of the best ways to generate your resume in seconds.

I even compared most AI website builders with ChatGPT, and guess what?

ChatGPT was far better than most of the so-called AI resume builders.

The reason is simple: ChatGPT has been trained on a massive amount of resume data, while most "AI website builders" are simply using OpenAI's API to power their so-called AI features.

Getting started is easy; you just need to visit ChatGPT and write a specific prompt.

Just to give you an example, here's a prompt that I wrote with some dummy data:

Then it will ask a couple of simple questions, like whether you have an existing resume, select the resume template, and then add your info.

As you can see, it's literally customizable - you can add or delete the sections you want, rearrange them, change your design and font, and more.

And the best part? You can ask the "AI Assistant" to make your resume better & more professional, as you can see below.

Talking about the pricing, you can use all of the features, from customization to using the AI assistant, and more for free (valid for 7 days).

And if you want some advanced features, you can go with the paid plan.

8. Resume.io

The last AI resume builder I want to talk about is Resume.io.

I didn't actually know about this one, but when I visited their website, I got to know that they have 48.26 million users so far, along with all the features that one needs.

But how to get started?

You just need to visit their website and click on the button, "Create my resume", and then select the template you want to go with.

Then you need to create your account using Email, Google, or more, and then it will ask you how you want to create your resume.

Since we are talking about AI resume builders, I will choose the option "Create with AI assistance".

And then upload my info like personal information, education, work experience, skills, and more.

Here's what it generated:

The only issue is that when I'm downloading the resume in the PDF format, it's asking me to upgrade.

Sure, I can download it in TXT format for free, but it's not so useful - so one needs to go with the paid plan.

Do you really need these AI resume builders?

In short, if you want to build a professional resume that can help you land the job, you should definitely use any one of these AI resume builders.
